AWAAIT will participate at MWC with a pitch on Artificial Intelligence applied to public transport

Chief Innovation Officer, Toni Miranda, will present TRAINSFARE project at EU SME Instrument Campions Workshop in the 4YFN platform.

Barcelona, 21st February, 2018 – AWAAIT will participate at Mobile World Congress 2018 with a pitch on Artificial Intelligence applied to public transport. Chief Innovation Officer, Toni Miranda, will present TRAINSFARE, a project aimed at tackling fare evasion in public transport, on Wednesday 28th at 4pm at the Workshop Room in 4YFN Hall 8 (Fira Montjuïc).

AWAAIT will be able to increase its awareness among key players in the mobile industry at the EIC SME Instrument Champions Workshop, where small innovative businesses funded under the SME Instrument will pitch their business projects in front of a world-renowned jury. The European Commission invited Phase 2 companies to apply for the pitch contest. AWAAIT is one of the 12 chosen SMEs to present, out of the 43 businesses that showed interest in the session.

The start-up will also attend the MWC Brokerage Event. The objective is to meet potential new partners, distributors and investors. Last year, the B2B matchmaking gathered more than 400 participants from over 40 countries.
